Pioneering the treatment of electrical injury

Employment Opportunities

The Chicago Electrical Trauma Rehabilitation Institute is now accepting applications for the following positions:

Clinical Scientist

The Chicago Electrical Trauma Rehabilitation Institute (CETRI) coordinates multidisciplinary evaluations and clinical support for survivors of electrical shock injury. Patient evaluations take place at CETRI and university hospitals in Chicago. CETRI's primary mission is to advance the understanding and treatment of electrical injury through basic and clinical research. Most CETRI patients have musculoskeletal, neurological and neuropsychological problems that limit their full recovery. The clinical scientist collaborates with the program faculty and takes responsibility for IRB applications, grant proposals, data collection, analysis, monitoring, and is integrally involved in all of the core functions of CETRI.

CETRI invites applications for entry level positions. We are seeking a recent graduate with a background in the clinical aspects of health care research at the M.S., M.D. or Ph.D. level. Preference is given to neuroscience backgrounds such as psychology, neurology, medicine, or neurobiology. Strong references and demonstrated ability to work independently are necessary. CETRI is located near Chicago's Midway Airport. Automobile transportation is most practical. Internship positions are also available.
